Highlights from our July seminar with Dr Tim Mills

Our previous seminar — “What Actually Improves Writing”, with guest speaker Dr Tim Mills (MBE), lead author of the DfE’s Writing Framework and a DfE RISE Advisor — scored an NPS of 100. Attendees spanned primary and secondary: class teachers, writing leads, heads and trust-level English experts from the Diocese of St Albans MAT, The Kemnal Academies Trust, St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust, Fox Federation and more.

“I came away with lots of ways forward and items for staff to think about, as well as some reading to do.”

Writing Lead / Class Teacher · St Benedicts Trust

“It has made me consider how 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐮𝐬 can be used beyond assessing work but as a diagnostic tool to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Thank you very much for such an interesting and inspiring day.”
